For Paradigm, Problem Solving Must Eliminate Politics, Pride & Prejudice.

Solutions need to address and identify ROOT CAUSE(S) of problems and be balanced, fair, sustainable, scalable, low cost, affordable, simple and fast to implement to be the best one.

In the process of determining how to obtain the best solution, often those with the best solution are not given due time and consideration. Current and conventional leaders are often given preference and those with little or no resume are overlooked. However, this is the worst thing that can happen if the end goal is to obtain the best possible solution.

Incumbent leaders made it to the top in one of three ways or a combination thereof. They earned spot through longstanding performance in management or sales, they created paradigm-shifting innovation or manipulated and lied their way into the job. Not addressing reality is never a way to solve a problem. Only by addressing reality and an informed and objective perspective will the best solutions and best leaders come to the surface and power.

Leaders should be problem solvers that have solid knowledge of their industry, have identified problems in the industry and come up with executable solutions that best solve the problems. All else should be following their lead and supporting them in action with the skills, resources and reach in their given capacity. One does not need to be part of developing the solution to support a solution. But the lack of support of a solution and it's proper leader will result in the solution. Therefore support of proper leaders is crucial.

Politics, pride and prejudice come into play when those that are not solving problems or providing or supporting the innovative solutions are in leadership. Leadership requires objective support of the best solutions and gives credit to and empowers the solution originator. When this is not done, then pride, envy, laziness and fear contribute to produce leadership that is loyal to self of purpose of position. When innovation is denied, then everyone loses. Prejudice as such kills innovation. Those that support leaders that are only charismatic in presentation without actual concern to support the best innovation and innovators are leaders that do not have the best interest in mind of those they serve and those that depend upon them to serve and fulfill their role they have been appointed to.

Therefore, truth, honesty and integrity are qualities of leaders that are perhaps more important than any other factors in obtaining not only obtaining the best solutions, but the best leaders. People that support dishonest leaders in exchange for obtaining special favor, benefits, money or position are actually enabling problems to continue. In due time if enough bad leadership is supported that does not support or listen to innovative problem solvers, then the end result will be collapse or severe decline. When such does happen then such poor leaders move to blame and bicker rather than solve problems. The problem is compounded and extended when poor leaders are supported even after failure. This fulfills a common definition of insanity of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The problem is systemic one as it supports pitchman not problem solvers. It supports those with the most charisma, not the best solutions and the most honest.

The paradox here is that in order to obtain paradigm-shifting, innovative solution, one must first be open to changing the way leaders must lead by supporting the innovators. Ironically those that innovate and obtain leadership role is what most everyone wants. However, all it takes for poor leaders to remain is for continued support of them and continued prejudice against the innovator. To solve problems, therefore, requires the support of those that support innovation and innovators. All the poor leaders require is that good people remain silent, apathetic and deceived by the lies or poor solutions presented or supported by poor leaders. One does not have the right to complain about anything if they take no action and do not do what they can and ought to do. In fact unless one does not do this they are cowards and in reality supporting poor leaders.
