President Obama May be Sincere, But He is Sincerely Wrong

President Obama has promised many a things since 2008. His choice to focus on an agenda of ObamaCare (Affordable Care Act) and push to make a BIG government even BIGGER does not appear to have yet run it's course and are prime examples of the wrong focus and at the wrong time.

His main focus when taking office in 2009 should have been the economy. Choosing to issue a government stimulus (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act - 787 billion) proved to be an under effective use of funds. The unemployment rates remains above 7% and this number is questionable as it appears that nearly 6 million people have just plainly stopped looking for work. And in the last four years while the rich have more than recovered from the recession, downturn in housing prices and 2009 crash of the stock market, the bottom 80-90% of Americans have largely remained stagnant in their wages and and net worth.

So now, in the midst of the Syria crisis, dodging multiple scandals such as the IRS, NSA and Benghazi the President is finally getting back to working on the economy. He points to many of the same stats of the decline of the middle class through redistribution of wealth by the top 1% or even the top 1/10 of 1% of the wealthiest Americans. I agree Mr. President you have identified a real problem that already existed before you took office.

The problem with the president's plan and focus, like with the Affordable Care Act or the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (AARA) of 2009 is that the return on investment is very low and will likely prove to be more costly than if we had done nothing. They are not the BEST solutions we could come up with. The AARA worked much as steroids, financing the purchase of nice big screen TVs or vacations. It did not go without benefiting America, but how much better could the money have been spent by lending to small businesses or startups?

Let's take a look:

> 2.5 million small business' could have received $50,000 = 125 Billion
> 1.5 million small business' could have received $250,000 = 375 Billion
> 100,000 small business' could have received $2,500,000 = 250 Billion

With REST 100 - 200 billion/year could go to small businesses and startups to fuel their growth, create a million plus new jobs per year and invigorate the innovation our country needs to be competitive on a global basis. Over a decade, it could contribute 1.5 trillion dollars to job creation by small businesses and create 10 million new jobs.

Small businesses and startups employ over half the workforce and create most of the innovation and new jobs. Is this not what our country needs to invest their money in? If small business creates so many jobs why do we starve them? Issuing stimulus checks works as a steroid to artificially and temporarily solve the problem. But should our tax dollars be used to fund their growth?

Is it not the fault of our corporate and government leaders and the SuperRich that got us in this mess? Of course "We the People" voted our representatives into office and must take some responsibility for doing so, but their opportunity to lead as they should have has been given due course of time and now is the time for REAL HOPE and REAL CHANGE! Rather than welfare, most citizens just want to be fairly compensated and share in corporate profits that they were a big part of helping shareholders and top executives earn. There is another solution to fund small business innovation, job creation and jumpstart the economy. It is called the RevShare Everywhere Stimulus Tax Plan.

Mr. President, bigger government and Keynesian economics are not the solutions. Bigger generosity by the SuperRich and super profitable corporations is the answer. I'm open to your agreeing with me and supporting the REST plan or a version much like it. But whatever you do, don't try to do this without working with WE THE PEOPLE by giving us answers on a variety of other issues. You have had 4 and half years to implement your own economic plan to revive our economy and repair the problem of wealth redistribution by the SuperRich. The time is now for new leaders and innovators to solve our problems. We don't need pitchmen at the helm. We need problem solvers.
